CAL stands for “Crochet ALong”, which is when a group of crocheters work on the same pattern at the same time. CALs can be in-person or online, and participants can share support, motivation, and progress.

KAL stands for “Knit ALong” and is basically the same as a CAL except we knit instead of crochet.
