So what is HBH? why is this named this way? What does this site does Contain? Why is there a tiger with cherry blossoms on the poor thing? There is a YouTube & TikTok by the same name, is that this same person?

My name is Heather and I am the owner and handcrafter of Handmade by Heather or HBH. I have created handcrafted items since I was about ten years old. Between my grandmother’s handmade ofuits and my mother’s tone of crochet and beadwork I got my love of handcrafts early. I learned how to do their crafts but I was not sastified with them. I wanted more, lol. So I taught myself, with help, to be able to complete counted cross-stitch, more crochet styles, and to knit. Along the way I tried lacework, tatting, handsewing,- machine sewing. I discarded crafts I didn’t enjoy and kept the ones I did. So now I do a lot of knitting and crochet. I still will do counted cross-stitch when the mood hits me. I will admit I do a lot more knitting then anything else. My favorite is lace shawls.

Handmade by Heather is my place to show off what I make and if anyone sees something they like I will make it for them on commission. So if you see something you want done but don’t want to make it contact me. If I can I probably will make it for you.

In my spare time I create youtube videos that teach and inform you how to crochet. It is a small channel and though I rarely pay attention to number of viewers or watches I hope my videos are helpful. I am always happy to take suggestions on different topics to cover in my videos.
